Contractor Engagement Overview
Contractors and subcontractors engaged by JG Builder may participate in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and government projects. Engagements are strictly project-based and governed by formal subcontract agreements that clearly define scope of work, technical specifications, timelines, quality requirements, safety obligations, and commercial terms. JG Builder reserves the right to appoint contractors based on project-specific needs, technical suitability, and compliance capability.
Scope of Subcontractor Work
Subcontractors may be responsible for executing defined work packages such as civil works, structural works, architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services, façade works, infrastructure development, or other specialized construction activities. The scope may include supply of labor, materials, tools, equipment, or a combination thereof, as specified in the contract. All works must be executed strictly in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules, while coordinating with JG Builder’s site management and other contractors.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify as a contractor with JG Builder, applicants must be legally registered business entities with valid trade licenses, statutory registrations, and operational history. Contractors must demonstrate proven experience in similar types of work, financial stability, availability of skilled manpower, and adequate technical capability. Compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, insurance requirements, and statutory obligations is mandatory. JG Builder may apply additional eligibility criteria depending on the nature and complexity of the project.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
JG Builder places the highest priority on quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance. Contractors are required to follow the company’s quality assurance and quality control systems, site safety rules, and environmental management policies at all times. All personnel deployed on site must be appropriately trained, qualified, and certified where required. Any violation of safety norms, quality standards, or regulatory requirements may result in penalties, suspension of work, or termination of the contract.
Documentation & Verification
Contractors must submit complete and accurate documentation, which may include company incorporation documents, tax registrations, insurance policies, financial statements, experience certificates, manpower details, and required certifications. JG Builder reserves the right to verify all submitted documents, conduct background checks, and seek third-party or authority verification where necessary. Submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information may lead to immediate disqualification or termination.
Commercial & Payment Terms
Commercial terms are defined clearly in the subcontract agreement and may include contract value, payment milestones, interim billing procedures, retention amounts, advance payments, and final settlement terms. Payments are released based on certified work progress, quality compliance, and fulfillment of contractual and statutory obligations. JG Builder follows transparent payment practices while strictly adhering to contractual conditions.
Ethical Conduct & Confidentiality
All contractors are expected to conduct business with integrity, professionalism, and ethical responsibility. Contractors must maintain strict confidentiality of all project-related information, drawings, commercial data, and client details. Any conflict of interest, bribery, corruption, or unethical conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination and legal action where applicable.
Application & Selection Process
Interested contractors may apply through JG Builder’s contractor registration or onboarding process by submitting the required information and documents. Submission of an application does not guarantee engagement or work allocation. JG Builder reserves the right to evaluate, approve, reject, or suspend contractor applications based on internal assessment, project requirements, and compliance standards.
